Four structures at Okinawa Hotel have officially been registered as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan, and a presentation ceremony for the commemorative plaque was held at Okinawa Hotel on November 17.
The registered properties include:
- The Ryokan Wing, a historic building that has stood since the pre-war Showa era
- The Brick Building, a rare brick structure in Okinawa Prefecture
- The Tile-and-Stone Wall, featuring beautiful Ryukyuan red roof tiles and limestone
- Daido Gate, a traditional gate showcasing classic architectural design
Since our founding in 1941, for more than 80 years, Okinawa Hotel has connected the past and present of Okinawa.
We are deeply honored that these cherished architectural treasures, which have witnessed generations of history, have been recognized in this meaningful way.
Moving forward, we remain committed to welcoming guests from Japan and around the world, offering a place where they can experience the rich history, culture, and warm hospitality of Okinawa.
